Alrighty, I've been a heavy "SteelSeries Rival 300 Silver" user for over 7 years now which is considered a heavier mouse for larger hands in the market with its 130 gramms in weight, but I loved it for what it was and it was perfectly fine for my competitive experience in games such as CS:GO, CS2, Valorant etc, but it was time for a change as I've been considering getting a wireless mouse for some time now, but was skeptical in doing so for the longest time due to that theory where some said the response time between wireless and wired mice could be significant and wireless mice might not be as good of a choice in comparison to the wired once for those willing to have the most reliable, stable and consistent gaming experience with no lag, delay and such. That was true back in the day, but knowing how technology evolved in the past few years with more eSports' pros switching to wireless devices I have decided to give wireless devices a try and am glad to have discovered this "BenQ Zowie EC1-CW Wireless Ergonomic Gaming Mouse (Large)". My palm size (beginning of my palm all the way to finger tips) is somewhat 19cm lenght by 10cm width which I guess is considered a larger hand size with longer/lenghier fingers. I have done a bunch of research and have personally tried a few other wireless gaming mice prior coming accross this Zowie one. Here is a list of some other great mice alternatives for competitive gaming and casual use that I also enjoyed with the exception of them being less comfortable for my hand grip, with some being too small for my preference / claw grip, I use claw grip usually when I play competitive shooters, gives me more control, but am switching to palm now with this mouse (you can search youtube for differences between claw, palm, fingertips' mouse grips if you're not sure what grip you personally have), but this Zowie mouse is kind of good for any type of grip hence the reason its ergonomic. I am also listing all of those other fabiolous wireless mice in no particular order that I also do recommend for your consideration in case Zowie wouldn't fit you for one reason or another""Logitech G PRO X Superlight Wireless", "HyperX Pulsefire Dart-Wireless RGB Gaming Mouse", "ENDGAME GEAR OP1WE Wireless", "ENDGAME GEAR XM2WE Wireless Gaming Mouse", you could maybe add "Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Mouse" and/or "Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Wireless G" to that list, but the shape of Razer's mamba was weird for my grip and it is a heavier mouse as well for larger hands. As for others on the list - they are all great and it would just depend on your hand size/grip/feel/preference to decide which one to stick with. I actually had to personally try all of them prior landing my eyes on Zowie's EC1-CW, but always keep in mind that what works for one person might not work for other. All I can say is all of them are a decent option, but in the end it will come down to personal preference such as your hands' palm shape, size etc...So, back to "BenQ Zowie EC1-CW Wireless"... I've only had it for about a week now and it fits my hand grip better than any of those other mice I mentioned above for my larger type of hands. It comes in 3 sizes. EC1-CW (Large), EC2-CW (Medium), EC3-CW (Small). All available on Amazon at the time of leaving this review. Coming from "SteelSeries Rival 300" this EC1-CW was the best fit for sure. It is also lighter going by the feel, which I also like even though im a fan of heavier mice as that seems to give you more control in my experience. Note that I at first purchased both sizes, the medium EC2-CW and the large EC1-CW one. I wanted to really find the most comfortable one out of the two instead of trying to get used to the one I might have not felt most comfortable with, and so in the end I ended up keeping the larger one while returning the medium sized one. I still had to get accustomed to the new mouse, but it only took two days before I felt satisfaction using it. The mouse is ergonomic which usually means should meet almost anyone's needs and of solid built quality. The plastic feels good to the touch. It does not have any software to my knowledge and it's pretty much plug and play right out of box. I won't go into specifics, you can read the description to see what it comes with, but the short of it is it has two ways of charging it. You can either use the "Enhanced Receiver" that it comes with or through USB the usual way. The usb plug goes to your desktop tower while the other end is a type-c that connects to the front of the mouse to charge it and you can also use the mouse while charging it, the cord is long enough. It really keeps the charge for a very long time. I normally don't let my devices go down below 40%, so I won't be able to tell how long the charge would last for to go from 100% to 0%, but I wanna say that after 12 hours of almost non stop use it barelly lost charge when I first used it. Its got 3 charging bars/light indicators. It came precharged with all 3 bars being solid. I've used it for almost the whole day and all 3 bars were still on with the exception of one of them starting to blink indicating that one of the 3 bars is about to dissapear, but you'd still be left with 2 other bars that would still last you awhile, therefore something tells me this particular mouse can keep charge for at least 2 to 3 days depending on use/consumption. Just a side tip - always charge your wireless devices when someone is physically present at home and don't leave your wireless devices charging/connected when no one's around. This brings me to conclusion that this mouse regardless of the size you go for is likely going to please the majority of people and if you are currently reading this trying to decide which one to go with out of multiple options you got, then I'd say begin with this Zowie one first and take it from there. Don't forget to check the messurements and pick the most suitable size out of three manufacturer offers and enjoy :)
