The chair is decent, certainly for the price.The foot rest is worthless. I have very short legs relative to my height (6'0"), and the foot rest only extends to my upper ankles/lower calves, and flexes something awful. I even went and tightened up all of the bolts on it, and it still gives a few inches when I really rest my feet (legs) on it. The actual length from the edge of the chair to the far edge of the rest is ~14".I'm afraid to use the full throw of the reclining back rest. I'm not sure if that's a point for, or against the chair, but I'd be careful how far you recline in it.Assembly was a bit of a bear, but manageable. Make sure you have a good work area if you can. I used my bed, but a large/high table would have been very nice. The instructions recommend using the box as a work space, but the one my chair arrived in was a little too beat up for that. The chair comes with a combination allen wrench/screwdriver (phillips). DO NOT USE IT. Please, don't torture yourself like I did. The bolts and corresponding wrench I received were 5mm. You can get an exceptionally nice 5mm allen wrench for ~$5 with Prime shipping, or an assorted set of decent wrenches for ~$13. The wrench that is included is garbage; it is the same length on both ends, which is neither short enough to turn the bolts quickly, nor long enough to really wrench them down comfortably. The screwdriver part is somehow even more useless, as the asymmetric handle (the allen wrench side) makes it very difficult to keep it held straight, and there's no pommel to press on to tighten to screws down without stripping them. I don't know what size the screwdriver end is, but really any medium-ish sized driver will work way better than the included one. I decided to use the included tool (even though I had my own) because I'm stubborn, and dumb. Don't be like me. Get your own tools if you don't already have them, and use them. I did use my own about a week later when I sured up some of the bolts I didn't tighten up well, and it was so much easier.Armrests are a big deal for me, because I play guitar. If you also play, you know E X A C T L Y what I'm talking about. They're a pain in the *ss, and usually I will just try to play on a chair without them. I took a chance with this chair because the armrests are lowerable. I would have preferred removeable or fold-up, but this suffices. I'm happy to say that when lowered, the armrests are no problem for my playing. Mind you, I play with the instrument on the leg opposite my strumming-hand, and I would probably not feel the same if that weren't the case. Most importantly, the elbow on my fretting arm clears the left armrest while lowered, which is very nice, and I'm glad I finally have a decent chair that I can comfortably play in, instead of a cheap folding chair.The head pillow could stand to be a little bit larger, but I will likely fashion my own later on. I have nothing to say about the lumbar support, as I have not used it, and never intend to. The small of my back is very shallow, and just looking at the massive lumbar pillow makes my back hurt. The armrests are a little bit wobbly, but it's not a big deal. The PU leather feels much thicker than that on chairs I've had in the past. I'm hopeful that it will last at least a year, but I will be sure to update my review when the urethane begins delaminating from the polyester backing.I'm a larger person (6'0"/255lbs [183cm/116kg], wide shoulders and hips, tall torso). I feel supported and comfy in this chair. I even opted to move the armrests in by the centimeter or so of tolerance afforded by the oblong mounting holes. I did notice about a week after assembly that the chair was a little wobbly, but tightening up the bolts on the main mounting plate again solved that. I would REALLY recommend keeping on top of them, and keeping them tight. All the more reason to get a nice allen wrench too.Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase, and would recommend this product to others looking for an affordable chair of the "gamer" variety.
